Notes: Once the cat figured out that Edgar was Family, not Food, the two of them got along reasonably well. Edgar would, however, snack from the cat's food dish (which had been put on a ledge overhanging the railing in order to keep the dogs out of it). Now and then, the cat would hop up onto the ledge and give Edgar the evil eye... or sometimes just keep him company.
