Knotwork Raven, in a semi-celtic style.

Origins: Drawn by me, after considerable brainstorming with Foxglove. Many thanks to her for the initial design ideas.

Copyright: Raven J. Brown. Permission is granted to use and/or distribute this, as well as other works based off the same pattern.

I have one request tho... If you're planning to use this knotwork within the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism - a medaevil recreaction group), I'd really appreciate it if you used different colors, 'cuz our household uses this particular emblem as its unofficial Heraldic Device. (Why unofficial? Because you can't emblazon knotwork heraldically.)

Notes: While this image is definitely knotwork, it's not technically Celtic Knotwork. Most Celtic knotwork is done in continuous loops, or at least unbroken lines. This image relies rather heavily on the "loose" ends of the knotwork to create the bird's beak and claws.

This design also works well in Black and White:
