Oh yes - exactly what the web needs: another Vampire Page!
Well, as it just so happens, I wanted a place to keep all my favorite links and files, and I thought I'd make a web page outta them. What? Why couldn't I have saved them all in a bookmark file? Foolish mortal, that would have been the simple way of doing things! And faaar be it from me to do anything the easy or logical way. Noooo.. there's something about skulking about in a cloak, baring fangs at unsuspecting victims, and drinking blood which makes creatures of the night eschew the ways of mortal man.
Its probably low iron. People these days just don't eat right.
Anyways, vampires seem to be pretty popular these days. The growing Goth subculture. The new vampire movies coming out every month. The prevelance of the Masquerade roleplaying game. And, of course, the Vampire bands. In my not-so-humble opinion, most of them suck. (Yes, pun intended)... but if you want to hear some of the not-so-bad stuff out there, check out:
What an odd fascination our culture has with these creatures, don't you think? After all, with the world in such a mess like it is right now, why would people would want to live forever? And yet... some people do. Or think they do.
Of course, there's people out there who just want to look like vampires. The brooding eyes, the commanding stare, the dark cloak, sinister fangs... (sigh). If I was really a vampire, the last thing I'd want to do is look the part.
Of course, since I'm not a vampire, I will quite freely commit the hypocrisy of dressing up like one... especially to catch the premiere of the latest blood-sucker flick. Besides, what better place is there to show off my cool cloak and custom-made vampire fangs?
And what are fangs without a little blood dripping from them?
I originally made the fangs and experimented with fake blood because I played in a vampire LARP (Live Action Role Playing game). I've stopped playing vampires, but I haven't stopped LARPing. I even maintain a LARP Resource Page.
I think my favorite thing about the vampire scene these days boils down to the image. Vampires do cut some pretty impressive poses. I've collected a few shots of my favorite vampires, and been emailed several more by people I know online. So, if you're interested, check out my...

What were you expecting? Fantastic graphics? Terrifying stories? Scintillating prose? I'm sorry, but there's a thousand other sites out there which cater to that sort of thing. If you navigated your way here, you probably don't need yet another list of hot-links either, so what you see is what you get. I hope you've enjoyed my meager offering to the already unwieldy world of vampyrica-on-line, because I'm not nearly enough of a vampire fan to do them the justice they deserve.
