A quick READ_ME for the September Crown '03 pics (in case you care)


cabins.jpg - A shot of both cabins. Mom's in the foreground, ours in 
the background. Ours does not yet have the pretty doors on it. (Shot 
was taken a couple weeks before Crown)


damoncon.jpg - Viscount Gunther (aka Uncle Damon to Kalen and Connor) 
throws his nephew into the air.


family.jpg - Jodi (aki Eyoddi), Raven (aka Dexter) with Kalen on her 
lap, Shades (aka Iolar) with Connor on his lap, Dirk (aka Lord Dirk 
the DragonTender) and Corry (aka Lady Coryn of the Woods), all 
sitting o nthe front steps of our cabin. Also in the picture are 3 
canine mebers of the SCA: Freya the high-strung, Dax the WarHound, 
and Kira the Doofus.


headon.jpg - Out Cabin, head on. Our cabin is level. The ground on 
which we built is not. This lends some interesting angles to the pic, 
including the bench which looks (but is not actually) warped.


kidsincar.jpg - The kids, getting ready to drive home from the vent. 
Only 13 years and one month before Kalen can get her driver's licence!


merchantsrow.jpg - A view down merchant's row during the heat of 
September Crown.


ourcabin.jpg - A different angle than the 'head on' shot, but 
basically the same. You can see the lantern-hanger over the front 
doors better in this one (minus lantern). We still need to finich the 
half-timbering and some ofthe painting, but at least it looks like a 
medeival building and not a plywood shack.


pavillion.jpg - An amazing pavillion built by an SCA'er named 
Malabar. This is the kinda thing I'd want to have if I didn't have a 
cabin. The wall which you see, BTW, can be expanded to wrap around 
the outer poles and make a full-sized enclosure, or be pulled in as 
it currently is to create a smaller room with a huge veranda.
