One of the best ways to get to know a person is to find out what sort of things they like. So, if you're interested, check out:
A few of my favorite novels,
What sort of music I like to listen to
My collection of humor files,
Favorite poems,
Who my favorite artists are
And which movies I'd want to be stranded with on a desert isle

Favorite Music
My musical interests run the gamut from classical to pop to industrial (with a careful sidestep to avoid Country&Western). Here's links to a few of my auditory inclinations.
- Gowan - Everything from Criminal Mind and Moonlight Desires, to The Dragon and Cyberbabes
- Eurythmics - and they do a much better job of Sweet Dreams than Manson, anyday.
- Its an old group, but I still enjoy Mr. Mister, too
- Switchblade Symphony - Some of the Best in Goth Music
- Fields of the Nephilim - a strange blend of.. well.. I don't know. But it's cool music.
- And of course, I have to include a Nine Inch Nails link.
- I also like celtic music such as: Enya, and Clannad
- Captain Tractor - a great Canadian group.
- SplendourBog - Comic-Celtic-Canadiana (and a cool group of guys, ta boot)
- And while we're in the folky range, I 'd recommend Garnet Rogers
- Christine Lavin has some great music, and a great web-page
- For more female folk, try Dar Williams
- And on a truly Classical note, I like Bach and Mozart.
- Can't forget Vangelis, either. Some of the best ambient music around.

They say you can't judge a book by its cover, but I can't count the number of novels which I've bought for the cover-art alone. In my opinion, some of these artists rank up there with Da Vinci and Dali.

- Walter Velez
- Darryl K. Sweet
- Keith Parkinson
- Luis Royo
Favorite Movies
If I was ever stranded on a desert isle, with only a TV, VCR, a few connecting cords, a solar-powered electric generator, and a suitcase full of movies (heh... what're the odds of that?) then these are the movies I'd want to be stuck with:
- Blade Runner
- Highlander
- The Princess Bride
- Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn
- The Star Wars Trilogy and Episode One
- Labyrinth
- The Lion in Winter
- Monty Python's Holy Grail
- Gattaca
- the new version of Romeo and Juliet
- The Matrix
