Nightshade Online
aesthetic looking fiddlybit

I spend, well.... a lot of time online.

What do I do online? I often ask myself that very same question. It seems that most of my online time is spent doing one or more of the following...

EMAIL - Yes, plain old email. And a lot of it, too. You can even drop me a line yourself, if you're interested. (But I warn you - my mailing habits are erratic. Sometimes I'll answer a message within minutes of receiving it, and other times I'll let it languish for weeks in my inbox, for no readily discernable reason.)

MUSH - Multi User Shared Hallucinations. Sort of like MUDs (Multi-User Dungeons) but with different commands, and usually a little less combat. I prefer World of Darkness and Social Mushes.

ICQ - Mirabilis ICQ is an interesting little program which some of my friends managed to hook me on. It lets you know when your friends are online, and vice versa (so long as you all have ICQ running). If you ever feel like looking me up via ICQ, my Universal Internet Number is 2033010.

HTML - Yes, I also like to muck about with my webpage when I'm online. Sometimes I merely surf (or dogpaddle) the web in search of new sites to link to my page. Other times I actually get right down to adding new "original" stuff to my page. If you follow the link, you can find some of my current (or not so current) projects.

DRAGON COURT! - an addictive little Javascript RPG. You can create a Hero and run through several 'quests' per night. My day just doesn't feel complete unless I've killed a few Basilisks...

Well, thats it. I'm afraid I don't do a lot of online video games (tho I'm considering trying my hand at some online WarCraft) and I'm not a big USENET junkie (although I used to lurk quite a bit on alt.goth.fashion and rec.frp.games). I have considered giving IRC a shot for a while now, but somehow there's always something else I'm busy doing instead. Anyways, give any of the above a try, and perhaps I'll see you around...
