Vampyre's Demense

Welcome into the Shadows of the Night.

You have entered a Realm devoted to one known as Vampyre (and known by other names as well, but only to those she cares to share such insights with). It is a virtual shrine to the aesthetic, the odd and unusual, and to occassional whims of ego.

Pardon? Whims of ego, did you say? Yes... and I must confess that the aforementioned whims are mine, and not hers. Vampyre herself is a (relatively) modest soul .. and before you ask, yes - she has a soul. She is not one of the thousand thousands who have forsaken their individalism to become another black-clad goth-wannabe roaming the darkened streets. She laughs, she smiles, she has unique opinions, her IQ can be measured in positive integers, and she can carry on a rational conversation on a range of topics including philosophy, Shakespearean sonnets, the Parvo virus in canines, theology and tattooing.

This page is merely my homage to her, which she has allowed me to create and share with others. My life has been enriched by knowing her, and I hope that you, too, gain something from these pages.

On the personal side...

Vampyre is in her early 20's. She is taking a post-secondary degree in Animal Health, and considering the pursuit of a veterinary degree (perhaps). She is interested in all sorts of animals, from reptiles to rats, and has (and has had) quite an array of pets, including: two dogs (Dax and Freya), several cats (Ozymandias, Nephretiti and others), and a red-tailed boa constrictor (Hiss) who is over 6 feet long. Past pets include another dog (Daisy), more cats, a rabbit (Fiver), a hedgehog (Spiny Norman of course), a few rodents, and two crows (Edgar and Eric).

She writes poetry, claims she is "addicted to tattooing", and enjoys a lot of the alternative subculture. Beyond that her interests are quite varied... You can check out her links page to look into a few, if you'd like.
